Terms & Conditions - Pivot CEO Academy
Effective Date: June 1, 2025
1. Program Provider
Saul Orbach, doing business as Pivot CEO Academy (“Pivot CEO,” “Pivot,” “we,” “our,” “us”).
2. Program Eligibility

Applicants must be at least 18 years old and either (a) a current first-time CEO or founder or (b) actively preparing to assume a CEO role.

We reserve the right to accept or reject any applicant at our sole discretion.
Upon Acceptance the candidate must:

2.2 Make payment according to Number 4 below.
3. Program Description
Pivot delivers an eight-week, cohort-based leadership course consisting of live workshops, role-plays, simulations, peer sessions, and take-home assignments. Content, instructors, dates, and venues may change; material equivalence will be maintained.
4. Fees & Payment

Tuition: US $2,250 per participant. (before applicable discount).

Early Bird Discount:
-
20% or $450 discount ($1,800 total) if enrolled by Wed., October 1st (up to 30 days before start date)

Payment Schedule:

Full payment due at registration, or
-
Two-installment plan available:
-
First installment (50%) due upon acceptance

Second installment (25%) due before Session 1 of the cohort

Outstanding balance (25%) due before Session 4 of the cohort

Currency/Taxes: All prices in USD; participants are responsible for bank charges and any applicable VAT.
Payment Methods: Standing order / bank transfer. Credit card.
Bank Fees: Credit card chargeback: participant pays the greater of 1% of the cancelled amount or ₪ 50. Rejected standing order: participant pays card issuer fee, minimum ₪ 22.
Cancellation Procedure – A registrant wishing to cancel must email saul@pivot-ceo.com and confirm by phone that the email was received. The effective date for fee liability is the actual receipt of the cancellation notice.
5. Cancellations & Refunds

Withdrawal ≥ 14 days before start: actual payments made less non-refundable $200 Administrative fee.

Withdrawal < 14 days and before first session: 50 % refund of actual payments made less non-refundable $200 Administrative fee.

Withdrawal after Program start: no refund.

If Pivot cancels a cohort, you may (a) receive a full refund or (b) transfer to a later cohort.
6. Participant Obligations
Participants agree to:

Attend a minimum of 80 % of sessions.

Complete assignments on time.
-
Respect confidentiality of all cohort discussions.

Abide by the Code of Conduct (no harassment, discrimination, or unlawful activity).
7. Intellectual Property

All slide decks, workbooks, and any other materials and recordings provided to you by Pivot remain the sole property of Pivot. You receive a non-transferable, single-user license for personal educational use only.

Participant-generated work (e.g., pitch decks) remains yours, but you grant Pivot a perpetual, royalty-free right to reference anonymized excerpts for marketing or teaching.
8. Confidentiality & Media Release

Pivot will not publicly disclose proprietary information shared in sessions without written permission.

We may photograph, film, or record sessions. By attending you grant Pivot the right to use your likeness for promotional purposes unless you opt-out in writing before the first session.
9. Disclaimer of Guarantees
Pivot provides education, not investment, legal, or mental-health advice. Completion of the Program does not guarantee fundraising success, company performance, or employment outcomes. Our services (including any materials provided) are provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee admission to any institution or success in any educational endeavor. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy or completeness of information provided.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pivot’s total liability for any claim arising under these Terms or use of our website or any materials therein is limited to the tuition actually paid by you. Pivot is not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
11. Force Majeure
Pivot is not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond reasonable control (e.g., war, natural disaster, pandemics, strikes, or governmental restrictions).
12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel. Any dispute shall be submitted exclusively to binding arbitration in Tel Aviv; the language of arbitration will be English.
13. Amendments
We may update these Terms; material changes may be emailed to enrolled participants and posted on our site 14 days before taking effect.
