Joining Valens Semiconductor in 2011 as a Board Member and later assuming the role of CEO since February 2020, Led Valens' IPO on the NYSE in September 2021.

 

Before Valens, founded and led four companies as CEO or Chairman, achieving three exit events: Ligature through M&A, Wizcom's IPO (known for the translating pen Quicktionary), and BriefCam's acquisition by Canon, utilized by the FBI in the Boston Marathon bombing.

 

Serve as the head of the investment committee at Aristagora Venture Capital and served as a partner in Aviv VC until 2020. In the non-profit sector, serves as a board member at Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design Jerusalem and spent a decade as a board member and committee chair at the Jerusalem Transport Master Plan Team (Jerusalem light rail JTMT).

 

Gideon holds BSc in Computer Science and Mathematics, along with an MBA from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
